Problem about sports delay growing: President Elias Nerlich defends himself against RB comparisons

Berlin club Delay Sports continues to make headlines. After the last one Duel with BSV Al Dersimspor for Bundesliga star Max Kruse canceled, the club’s co-founder and Twitch streamer Elias Nerlich now responded to unpleasant comparisons of his project with “something hateful” Red Bull with clear words.

“I don’t need extra money, I’ve earned enough money in my life. […] “I do Moill Sports because I like it, not because of money,” said Nerlich, denying the accusations that he launched the project for financial reasons, the passion he has for football his only motivation – as it has always been.

Moill Sports march further in the Berlin Cup

The promotion of Moill Sports has continued since 2021. The team has now reached the district league and even qualified for the round of 16 in the Berlin Cup – the dream of taking part in it the DFB Cup is getting higher and higher. To do this, however, the club needed to get the cup.

Nerlich and Co’s recipe for success? Young fans should be treated in particular and the community should play a big role.

The residents of the capital benefit, for example, from the wide range of star player Sidney Friede, who, like Nerlich, is also a successful hitter and a climber.

The former Hertha professional has more than a million followers on Instagram and the streaming platform Twitch. According to Nerlich, he will never have to work again and, like Nerlich, he sees Delay Sports as a passion project and not a profit opportunity.
