The SBU claims that before the start of the full-scale invasion, he was part of the pool of political PR people who worked for Medvedchuk.
Literally: “It has been established that the defendant was engaged in the “promotion” of the media image of the Kremlin ally as a “peacemaker” who is “heard” in Moscow. To do this, he regularly published his messages on propaganda Internet platforms.
In addition, in early 2020, he voluntarily began working for the Russian news agency News-front, registered in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Details: After the start of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, the man was in Khmelnytsky and from there he distributed publications in which he questioned the existence of Ukraine within internationally recognized borders.
The SBU conducted linguistic examinations and confirmed the facts of subversive activities. The man was informed of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code “high treason” and arrested without the right to bail.
