A measure which follows the criticisms emitted by the virologist Marc Van Ranst who stigmatized the vigorous accolades of the players of Antwerp after their victory.
“A number of moments in and around the (cup) final were not in line with the deal,” Pro League spokesman Stijn Van Bever admitted on Sunday afternoon. OHL and Beerschot have therefore received a communication in view of the D1B final.
“The Pro League consulted Van Ranst and the independent doctors appointed by the Pro League on Sunday morning to advise us on our procedures. OHL and the Beerschot were widely briefed on Sunday morning on the arrangements. On Monday and during the course of the week, the other clubs will receive their briefing for the resumption of the championship, ”added the Pro League.
