EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- The representative of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) for Santiago, Soraya Suárez, showed this Friday her disagreement with the approval of the vaccine bill approved in second reading by the Senate of the Republic.
Suarez said that in no way will he agree with people being forced to get a vaccine, especially when it is in a testing process.
The legislator spoke about the issue when interviewed by communicators Jaime Rincón and Aneudy Ramírez in the El Nuevo Diario de la Tarde program, from the Expo Cibao 2023 Fair broadcast on the El Nuevo Diario TV digital platform.

However, the PRM leader also reported that fortunately, now the Dominican Republic Vaccine Bill will be analyzed in the Chamber of Deputies.
“Now it is our turn to review the project in question, to determine some flaws, because it is not true that no one can be forced to receive a vaccine if they do not agree,” he stressed.
He also insisted that the bill would be violating people’s fundamental rights, considering that wanting to force a person to be vaccinated constitutes a fundamental violation of the Constitution of the Republic.
According to the motivation of the Senate, the vaccine law of the Dominican Republic seeks to provide free and without discrimination protection to the population against preventable diseases using the indicated doses.
