Prize Money Increased for Second Edition of Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Women’s Tennis Championship

ABU DHABI, 27th September, 2017 (WAM) – The Women’s Tennis Association and IMG announced that the prize money for the second edition of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Women’s Tennis Championship was raised to $900,000, after the prize money for the first edition of the tournament was $780,000. dollar.
The second edition of the 500-point tournament will be held from February 3 to 11, 2024, in partnership between the Women’s Professional Tennis Association and Mubadala, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, where the competitions will be held at the International Tennis Center in Zayed Sports City.
In addition to the tournament’s financial prizes, the winning players will receive classification points.
The tournament is expected to witness the participation of 28 players in the singles category and 16 teams in the doubles category.
