SYDNEY, KOMPAS.com – Privy, the first digital identification (ID) and signature service provider in Indonesia, has officially expanded to Australia.
In collaboration with Digital Identity Solutions, Privy is holding a networking event entitled “Unlocking Digital Insights” in Sydney from 28 April to 3 May 2023.
During the event, the Indonesian Ambassador to Australia Siswo Pramono and the Indonesian Consul General in Sydney Vedi Kurnia Buana were present to provide support with more than 100 other invited business people.
With more than 39 million verified individual users and 2,800 companies using Privy in Indonesia, the company is a potential partner for Australian businesses looking to strengthen personal data protection measures, and has become increasingly relevant in light of the recent data breach.

Privy provides user-centric digital identity, gives greater control over data subjects, and promotes minimization of data sharing and prevention of identity theft.
Privy CEO Marshall Pribadi delivered a presentation on digital identity verification, data privacy and cyber security, and provided insights for Australian businesses on how to engage customers digitally in an easy but more secure way.
Marshall also showcased his approach to digital identity verification. Privy is supported by the Government of Indonesia and a certificate authority licensed by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, and registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as an e-KYC provider.
Marshal claimed that Privy had successfully implemented a proven technology product which is now the leader in the digital identity industry in Indonesia.
“We have a vision to share their models with developed countries in Australia and provide digital ID solutions that can mitigate the risk of data theft,” he said in a written statement received by Kompas.com, Saturday (6/5/2023).
Privy, which recently obtained ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification regarding Privacy Information Management, has also managed to build a reputation as a digital security solution provider partner.
