About two months after the start of the first sit-ins for the bill that allows the establishment of private universities, the student movement is preparing for its most important battle.
The students are calling for a pan-Hellenic pan-educational mobilization on Friday, when the Pierrakaki bill is expected to be put to a vote. Documento and Pandora’s Box were in Panteio shortly before the regular general meeting of the student union talking to students about the bill and the protests.
Xenia, a student of the “Communication, Media and Culture” Department, told us that in Panteio there is a unifying struggle with the teachers, who are also mobilizing to prevent the government’s bill from passing. In addition, he stated that even if the bill is passed, the students will not let the law be implemented. In addition to these, the Panteion student also spoke out against thuggery DAP-NDFK helmet fighters and ONNED in Ioannina and the common characteristics with the repressive operations of the police against students.
