Private Share Feature on Galaxy A25 5G: Safe Tips for Sharing Files

Safe Tips for Sharing Files with Private Share on Galaxy A25 5G / Special

JAKARTA, BERITADEWATA – Technological advances have made sending files from one device to another increasingly easy. But Samsung goes a step further by making file or document sharing activities more protected, especially if the files you share are very important, confidential or sensitive.

To protect your important data, Samsung has introduced the Private Share feature, which you can now also enjoy on the latest Galaxy A25 5G smartphone. With this feature you can share private content such as personal documents, work, family photos and videos with stronger privacy protection.

“Galaxy A25 5G comes with the ability to run the Private Share feature. “Important files such as personal information and business data can be shared easily without reducing quality, and remain safe,” said Ilham Indrawan, MX Product Marketing Senior Manager, Samsung Electronics Indonesia.

With Private Share, the content you want to share will be encrypted before sending. As the owner of important data or files, you can control who can access them, and how long the files are available. Files received via Private Share can be controlled by the original owner so that they can only be received, read, and cannot be shared back with other people, and cannot even be screenshotted.

To use the Private Share feature on the Galaxy A25 5G, here are the steps:

1. Log in to your Samsung Account
⦁ Make sure the sender’s and recipient’s smartphones both support the Private Share feature.
⦁ Both smartphones must also be connected to a Samsung Account.

2. Start using Private Share
⦁ To start using this feature, open Gallery then select the file you want to send. Tap Share in the menu row below.
⦁ Select Quick Share in the menu below.
⦁ Then tap on the three dot icon in the top right corner.
⦁ In the pop up that appears select Enable Private Sharing. The smartphone will scan for connected devices.
⦁ After that, a settings display will appear for the file to be sent.
⦁ By default, the expiration date for files to be sent is 2 days.
⦁ To customize according to your wishes, tap Set expiration.
⦁ On the recipient’s side, the files received will not go to the Gallery folder but to the Secure Folder. When opened, the recipient will get a file with a watermark and cannot be shared with other users.

You can also check the extent of use of the files you send, how:
⦁ After you send the file you want, you can click the 3 dots icon at the top right of the screen.
⦁ Select settings.
⦁ Then select Private Sharing History.
