A private source revealed to Al-Riyadiah that the company organizing the Japan International Championship, in which the first Al-Nasr football team will participate, has provided a private plane to transport the “Yellow” mission from Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, to Osaka, next July 21.
This comes after the capital team finished its preparations for the new season in Portugal. And the same source disclosed the sponsorship of another private plane, which will transport the Nasrawi mission from Osaka to Taif, next July 28, with the club’s management granting six million euros, at a rate of three million for each match that the team will play in the tournament, starting with the French Paris Saint-Germain match, July 25. Then the Italian Inter Milan, on the 28th of the same month.
The sponsoring company stipulated that some short meetings be held with a number of Al-Nasr stars, led by Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
On the other hand, a private source told Al-Riyadiah that the date of the team’s match against Al-Shabab in the opening of its competitions in the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs has not been finally decided, and discussions will take place with the new technical staff, early next month, about how to play the competition in the absence of A number of first-team players because of its coincidence with the Japan International Championship.
It is noteworthy that the Arab Club Championship will start next July 27, which means postponing matches in the first round of the Saudi League if Saudi teams qualify for the final rounds.
