SIA reports that Azerbaijani pianist Suada Hajizadeh, who is married to Christopher Van Damme, the son of world-famous actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, wrote these words on social media.
The musician living in America said that he longed for music for a long time because concert programs were banned during the pandemic. The musician also shared his impressions of the classical music night he listened to surrounded by candles:
“After graduating from the Academy of Music, there was a pandemic, and we all know how it went. All events were canceled, concerts, theaters… It was difficult for me, because I was used to going to classical concerts at the Philharmonic every Friday with my student ticket. Entrance is free for students of the Academy of Music. Academy inside and at different schools we had concerts non-stop during the week.Also when we didn’t have any concerts we would do it by ourselves in a small classroom with a group of student friends and it was a lot of fun! this time living with my husband was a really amazing memory and experience for me. I loved every moment,” Suada Hajizade said.
It should be noted that Suada Hajizade, who has been involved in music since childhood, performed in concert programs with the State Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestras at the State Philharmonic. He was an active participant in numerous events held by the Russian Cultural Center and other state, public and cultural events. Suada Hajizadeh is also a Presidential awardee.
