UpdateFlies are flying again at Geneva airport. Flights were suspended for several hours on Wednesday evening after a private jet skidded off the runway during landing.
The plane landed in the grassy area. There were no casualties in the incident. The runway was only allowed to be used again after an intervention by the fire brigade. Some flights were diverted to other airports.
Geneva airport is the second largest in Switzerland, after Zurich. It is, among other things, an important hub for low-cost airline easyJet.
