The Association of Entrepreneurs of Private Early Childhood Education Centers of Albacete (Aceiab), integrated in FEDA, and chaired by Francisco González Garrido, was established in June 2020, with the main objective of defending the professional interests of the sector. Involved in the promotion and defense of business unity and integration, it holds its annual General Assembly.
In it, an analysis of the state of nursery schools has been made, where the situation that the sector is going through due to the health crisis has been made manifest, since with the different confinements that are emerging, children are not being enrolled and without However they must continue to maintain their qualified staff and incur the fixed costs without any guarantee.
After just over a year of existence and with more than 50% of the nursery schools in Albacete and the province, they value the importance of a private nursery school and the need to continue counting on the administration to be able to maintain itself. It is going to continue in the line of approach to the delegation of Education and the city council so that all schools comply with the required regulations in the same way and fight against professional intrusion.
Also noteworthy is the delivery of personalized identification plates with which it is intended to reinforce the image of Early Childhood Education taught by authorized centers, integrated into the association that defends common interests and which confirms that these centers comply with the regulations with qualified personnel and adequate facilities.
For this new year we want to ask again for the constitution of a Joint Commission made up of Education and the City Council, where cases of intrusion can be investigated in a closer way and deepen on issues such as the advancement of the school check.
For the Association, it is very important in this sense to know the difference between a private center with the breadth of hours and dates it has, staff qualification, facilities … with respect to a toy library or leisure center not regulated by the same regulations .
The integration of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Private Early Childhood Education Centers (ACEI AB) into FECEI (Regional Federation of Private Early Childhood Education Centers of Castilla la Mancha), where Albacete assumes the presidency, has also been a very important fact to the time to have a direct link to the regional administration with the intention of transferring and making known the general problems of the sector.
