Prison Architect 2 exposed by censorship body

Indie favorite Prison Architect appears to have a sequel on the way. At least that is if we can believe a new entry at the Korean censorship body The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea (GRAC).

As among other things Eurogamer reporter GRAC posted information about a game called Prison Architect 2. This was deemed appropriate for youth, according to the listing, which has since been deleted.

Paradox Interactive, publisher of the original Prison Architect, has not yet said anything about a potential sequel. However, the appearance of the game at GRAC could suggest that an official announcement may be imminent. The Game Awards are also just around the corner.

The article continues below.

Prison Architect began its days in 2012, after a very successful crown rolling campaign for developer Introversion Software. The game is about building and running your own prisons, with all the challenges that entails.

After further success and many millions of copies sold, Prison Architect received its latest update this summer, called The Sunset. The trailer for the update included a jailbird in 3D, which many have interpreted as a possible hint that the sequel could be three-dimensional.
