The Hamburg press law firm Prinz officially opened an office in New York City at the turn of the year. In addition, the law firm is growing at partner level with a career changer.

The firm had been planning to open a representative office in the USA for some time. For several months a year, the Hamburg partner and press lawyer Dr. Diana Green to be there.
The location is to be used in particular for advising personalities who move on the international stage. Although Grün does not have an American license to practice law, the law firm has been working with local network law firms for many years. This should then be coordinated in the company’s own office in the future.

The press and media lawyer Stephan Mathé (48) also moved to Prinz’s Hamburg office for the new year. He joins the law firm as an equity partner and comes from the law firm Poppe in Pinneberg in Schleswig-Holstein, where he has worked for the past seven years. Mathé is a specialist lawyer in intellectual property law as well as in copyright and media law. In addition to advising public figures, he also works for labels and artists in the music industry, including Sony Music.
With the access, Prinz has a total of seven lawyers. In the past few years, the law firm has seen a number of personal changes. After the long-term partner Dr. Dirk Dünnwald left the office, Prinz repositioned himself. Only a year later this constellation broke up and the two other namesake partners Dr. Nina Lüssmann and Dr. Volker Perten left the office in the direction of Buse Heberer Fromm.
