After the departure of Harry and Meghan and all the rumors about Prince Andrew, yet another scandal is set before the palace doors of the British Royal Family. In the soon to be published book Prince Philip Revealed a lot of attention is paid to all the affairs that Prince Philip would have had over the years. And they cannot be counted on one hand …

As in love as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were when they agreed to each other on November 20, 1947, the couple are more than seventy years later. Although the two lovebirds enjoyed each other and their freedom in the early years of their marriage, the untimely death of King George VI in 1952 ended their (relatively) carefree existence. Before she was ready, Elizabeth was crowned queen, while Philip suddenly got a place in the background, a position he was not at all happy with. He then sought his salvation elsewhere, as evidenced by fragments already appearing from it yet to appear Prince Philip Revealed were released.
The book takes a closer look at the countless stories of his relationships with other women that have circulated over the years. For example, the actresses Sally Ann Howes, Merle Oberson and Anna Massey are mentioned. But aristocrats, old childhood loves, and even distant relatives have all been associated with the prince. While it has never been proven that Philip took refuge in other women, the stories have been repeated so often that the general picture has emerged that the prince is indeed a crook. Also in the popular Netflix series The crown attention is paid to that chapter.
Feminine clean
Whether the rumors are true or not, royal biographers all agree that the prince certainly enjoys feminine beauty around him. For example, he only employs beautiful women and he would choose the most beautiful of the bunch time after time to have a conversation with. Moreover, he would always make sure that there was at least one woman on the guest lists for events at Sandringham and Balmoral who he found attractive. What does Queen Elizabeth think about that? “Men will always be men,” she once said, without going into the rumors.
Despite all the stories, both Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth never made themselves known and have always ignored or denied the speculation. “Every time I talk to a woman, I am said to have slept with her,” Philip said in a 2006 TV interview. “I’m pretty flattered at my age that people think a girl is interested in me. It’s absolute nonsense. ”
Solid marriage
Nonsense or not, the rumors have been circulating for decades and that will not change any time soon. The fact that the prince likes to surround himself with beautiful women has in any case had no influence on his solid marriage. There may have been some difficult moments, but mutual respect always seemed to be there. “It is a waste of time to change the character of a man,” the queen once told a friend. “You have to accept him as he is.” And that is exactly what she did.
The book Prince Philip Revealed, written by royalty watcher Ingrid Seward, will be released in early October.
