Princess Sofia: – That’s why she went underground

In early September received Duchess Kate huge attention after she had not appeared in public in several months.

That time it got violent wondered what was the reason to the fact that the Duchess had “gone underground”, but at the same time it emerged that she usually takes holidays in July and August, and that the holidays may have simply lasted longer than usual.

That’s why Sofia is gone

Now, however, Swedish Princess Sofia (36) has followed in Kate’s footsteps. The former usually shares looks and often photos with fans on Instagram, where she and her husband Prince Carl Philip (42) go under “The Prince and Princess”.

The last time Sofia participated, or posted a post on the photo sharing service, was on 15 August, in connection with Prince Julian’s baptism.

The royal fans have therefore started scratching their heads, and wonder where the princess has gone on social media. according to Swedish Women’s Magazine is a simple explanation for why Sofia has withdrawn completely.

The Swedish newspaper claims that the 36-year-old is at home with the couple’s three sons, Alexander (5), Gabriel (4) and Julian (six months), and that she is simply on maternity leave after the latter son was born earlier this year.

– Does not have to hand over the responsibility

– Princess Sofia has appeared far less often than she usually does, but I find it not so strange now that she has maternity leave, says See and Hear royal house expert Caroline Vagle.

– With two little wild guys and a baby in the house, she and Prince Carl Philip, like all other parents of small children, probably have enough to hang their fingers on forever.

Vagle says that things have changed for the royals over the years.

– Today, it is fortunately a matter of course that the royals also receive parental leave, and not as before had to hand over the responsibility to others to be able to perform royal assignments, she says.

How long Princess Sofia will be “gone” remains to be seen.
