The star appeared on the iconic red carpet as a green goblin, warts included. The drag queen – who was completely unrecognizable – was painted green from head to toe and even wore facial prosthetics to get a bigger chin, nose and ears. To add a bit of elegance to the striking ensemble, Princess Poppy wore a green strapless dress and the outfit was completed with pearls.
The appearance of the ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ star made all heads turn. “I wanted to do exactly the opposite of what is expected of you when you go to such an event,” says Princess Poppy about her striking choice. “I wanted to be so shocking that you just had to look at me.” And that mission seems to have been successful. The photos have now gone viral on social media. “Princess Poppy going to the Emmy Awards dressed as a green goblin is the best thing ever,” she said.
