Princess Peach: Showtime was announced during last month’s Nintendo Direct, and features our favorite video game princess in an all-new adventure, where she’ll play a number of different characters, like a rapier-wielding musketeer and an equipped Piping bag chef character.
The game’s key art (used for the box art) was also revealed, but just a month later, it has now changed. This was discovered by X user No Context Super Mario, who posted a side-by-side comparison.The most obvious changes are to Peach’s eyes and mouth, which make her look more like she is insuper mario bros movieas done in. Kung Fu Peach on the right now looks much angrier than before.
As noted in X’s post below, this is not the case with the Western variations as the Japanese box art has the same variations. Princess Peach: Showtime launches exclusively for Switch on March 22.
