The Princess of Wales looks set to extend her royal break, as her name is not yet on the guest list for the Chelsea Flower Show, a garden exhibition popular with the royal family. Traditionally, members of the royal family attend the event the day before its official opening. However, this year, the presence of Prince William’s wife is uncertain.
A longer recovery than expected?
Initially scheduled until Easter, the convalescence of the Duchess of Cambridge, aged 42, could extend further following the revelation of her fight against cancer. She suffers from colon cancer, which according to a specialist is very treatable.

According to Hello! magazine, the princess’s name is not among the first guests confirmed for May 20.
Only a few attendees have been announced, including the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, cousins of the late Queen Elizabeth II. The full Chelsea Flower Show guest list will be announced soon. The presence of King Charles, Queen Camilla or Prince William has not yet been confirmed.
