The background for the interview is the documentary series « Märtha »Which premieres on TV 2 on Wednesday. Viewers are introduced to the grief over Ari Behn, the pressure from the media, the close relationship with the daughters and Märtha’s thoughts about her own role in the royal family.

The agreement with TV 2 was entered into before Ari Behn’s death in Christmas 2019, and before the corona turned everything upside down. Author and artist Ari Behn was married to Princess Märtha Louise from 2002 to 2016. Together they have daughters Maud Angelica (17), Leah Isadora (15) and Emma Tallulah (12).
When the princess appeared in “Helt Harald” on TV a few weeks ago, she answered in the affirmative to the question of whether it might be relevant for her to move to the USA. When asked by VG about how relevant it is to move from Norway, Märtha says that it is in the cards.
– We can not be together
Right now it is covid and difficult to plan, but we are planning to move with the times. The children will of course join.
They want to keep the home in Lommedalen.
– We will still be here a lot. We can not leave beautiful Norway completely, she says in the interview.
