It’s been over two years Princess Märtha Louise (49) revealed that she had found love with the self-proclaimed shaman Durek Verrett (46). The relationship has been duly covered in the press at home and abroad, and not least they have become acquainted with the couple in the TV 2 series «Märtha».
The Princess and the Three Daughters Maud Angelica (18), Leah Isadora (16) and Emma Tallulah (12) is scheduled to move to the United States with the time they are to live with Verrett.

– Incredibly nice meeting
The princess says that the first meeting took place at Verrett’s home. A while earlier, she had met their mutual friend Millana Snow, who had then thought that Märtha Louise should meet the self-proclaimed shaman.
Snow said that during the meeting with the princess she experienced a very strong “energy” – which she had previously only experienced with one person, namely Durek Verrett and therefore believed that the princess should meet him.
– That’s why I finally came home to him after a long time, and it was such an incredibly nice meeting, the princess says in the podcast.
Reveals relocation plans
After that, they started talking, and they eventually became good friends. The next time they met was in New York. They also experienced many strange coincidences along the way, the king’s daughter reveals.
– Then I wanted to say hello, because he was in the same city, before we went on. I asked what hotel he was staying at [ …], and New York is very difficult, so it could have been an hour away without problems, but then we were just going around the building, and then it turned out that his hotel was directly opposite the building we lived in, says the princess.

The 49-year-old also explains that she gradually began to fall for Verrett, but that in the beginning it was not in the cards that there would be anything between them.
– We talked about it, but it was a bit like: “No, there is nothing relevant”, the princess says frankly in the podcast.
Dagbladet has tried to get a comment from Princess Märtha Louise’s manager Carina Scheele Carlsen, so far without success.

But in the end it was the two of them, and now they are soon ready for the next step in the relationship. According to the plan, Märtha Louise and the three daughters will eventually move to Los Angeles in the USA.

– Right now it is covid and difficult to plan, but we plan to move with time. The children will of course join, the princess told the newspaper then.

The Princess and Verrett have had distance relationships for several years, but that will soon be the end of it. In the VG interview, the princess could also tell that she had not seen her boyfriend since Christmas.
