Princess Laurentien is in BEAU expressed about the social media use of her daughter Eloise. The countess’s mother says she does not want to interfere with what her daughter posts online.
“The most important thing is that she stays herself and stands firmly in her shoes”, says the princess. “She is eighteen years old, a grown young woman.”
Princess Laurentien says she “whispers things to her daughter now and then”. “But we have faith in her. Life is a learning process, also for her. You can see that she is celebrating her life, the most important thing is her authenticity.”
The question was posed to the princess in response to a deleted TikTok video of Countess Eloise. In it she can be seen dancing with both her parents. “She thought afterwards”, says Laurentien. When asked by Beau van Erven Dorens whether Eloise “did not want to get her parents involved in this”, the princess replies: “Something like that.”
Princess Laurentien also says she has learned something from her daughter’s active presence on Instagram and TikTok. “You look at it in a different way now,” says the princess. “She teaches us to look at the media in modern times.”
Eloise has been active on social media since her eighteenth birthday and regularly posts messages and videos. She made a video in which she answers questions from followers.
