According to an official statement from Kensington Palace, the Princess of Wales had abdominal surgery in mid-January and is now recovering at home in Windsor.
But a recent Mother’s Day photograph of Kate showing her three children caused such a stir due to the princess’s use of Photoshop that various conspiracy theories began to spread online, with people speculating where the princess could have gone.
From the outset, Kensington Palace made it clear that Catherine was unlikely to return to public duties before Easter, and the palace would only provide updates “when there is important new information to share.” But in the information vacuum, people began to come up with their own theories about the “missing Princess Kate.”
Kate’s health is very bad
It was on the topic of the princess’s health that a lot of speculation arose. At the end of January, the palace announced that Catherine’s rehabilitation was going well, she was feeling better and had returned to her home in Windsor. A little later it became known that together with William and the children they went to the country mansion Anmer Hall, but they got there very secretly and in such a way that no one could capture them in the photo.
In February, Prince William abruptly canceled his appearance at the memorial service for King Constantine (his godfather), citing personal reasons. And already on March 5, additional questions arose. It comes after the British military announced that Catherine would attend the Color Ceremony in June, apparently without consulting palace officials. And soon this information was removed from the site, since it turned out to be unconfirmed by the palace.
The palace responded and almost immediately, as is believed in the press and social networks, initiated a trip between Kate and her mother Carol by car near Windsor, where they were photographed by paparazzi. But new pictures added even more fuel to the fire, saying that a girl looks like Kate, but is she really a princess?
And then, on Mother’s Day on March 10, Kensington Palace published an allegedly new photo of Kate with her children, taken by Prince William. The sweet family photo was probably meant to show the public that everything was fine with the princess. She is alive and well. Several major news outlets that originally published the photo, including The Associated Press, Reuters, Getty Images and AFP, removed it just hours later, citing concerns about digital manipulation. And the next day, Kate posted a story in which she apologized for the “confusion” caused by her editing of the image. Kensington Palace said it would not release the original, unedited photograph.
In short, no further comments or details were received from the palace. And Prince William continues to appear in public himself. Yesterday he attended the Diana Legacy Awards ceremony at the Science Museum in London, which celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Kate in an induced coma
Another theory where people think that Katherine’s health is so bad that she is in a coma. And it is for this reason that the palace is releasing strange photoshopped photos that were probably taken much earlier, when Kate was healthy.
According to this theory, Kate Middleton faced serious complications and could have unexpected post-surgery problems that led to a long recovery period. Kate left William because of his infidelity
In addition to the health of the princess, people are also concerned about the personal life of Kate and William. There are rumors about a potential rift between Kate and Prince William and the couple’s possible divorce. It is assumed that William is cheating on his wife with Lady Rose Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley, with whom Kate was previously friendly. In August 2023, the Princess of Wales attended a party at her friend’s Norfolk estate, but Prince William did not join his wife. This theory is based on unconfirmed reports and rumors. But some seriously believe that Kate could have left her husband because of his infidelity.
