On Saturday 30 April, nine days after her fifteenth birthday, Isabella will be confirmed as a member of the Danish People’s Church.
The ceremony is led by Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen and takes place in the chapel of Fredensborg Palace, the place where her grandmother, her father Crown Prince Frederik and brother Prince Christian were also confirmed. Princess Isabella was baptized in the chapel on July 1, 2007.
The celebration takes place privately with family and friends. Isabella is the second child of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. The confirmation of her brother Prince Christian (16) took place last May. This was postponed several times due to the corona crisis.
