Princess Eugenie of York and her husband Jack Brucebank have announced that their family has grown bigger – little Ernest George Ronnie Brucebank has been born. The baby was born on May 30.
The child’s name was given in honor of his father’s father, who passed away at the age of 72 in 2021.
The 33-year-old princess has a second child, the eldest son August is already two years old.
The royal newcomer is 13th in line to the throne, pushing Prince Edward to 14th.
The couple welcomed their first child, son August, in February 2021 at a London hospital. Eugenia’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh expressed their joy at the event in an official statement at the time. Eugenia’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, also welcomed her own child that same year, giving birth to daughter Sienna in September.
Eugenie married retired bartender Geoff Brooksbank in 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, with a host of celebrities in attendance. The ceremony was enjoyed in person by Robbie Williams, Liv Tyler, Demi Moore, Naomi Campbell and other celebrities.
Princess Eugenie is ninth in line to the British throne.
