High school is officially over for Princess Elisabeth. The future sovereign received her diploma this weekend during an online ceremony.
For the past two years, the eldest daughter of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde has studied at UWC Atlantic College, Wales. 2020 thus marks the end of its course in secondary education. Unfortunately, due to coronavirus, the princess and her comrades were not entitled to the traditional graduation ceremony.
It was from their home that each student received their diploma through a video released this Saturday by the Welsh school. However, despite the circumstances, everyone played the game. Some students pushed the song and the headmaster even gave a speech for the new promotion. If Princess Elisabeth did not appear on the screen, her name was mentioned to her among the graduates.
Due to the crisis, Princess Elisabeth was unable to pass her exams, she was assessed on the basis of her results obtained during the past year. From August 31, she will join the Royal Military School in Brussels to follow a one-year training course in social and military sciences.
