The recordings of the annual Christmas concert were made in the royal palace in Brussels. The court announced via Twitter that the concert would continue without an audience this year. But that didn’t stop Queen Mathilde and her daughters from looking stylish.

The entire offspring of King Filip and Queen Mathilde was present for the recordings. Including Princess Elisabeth who returned from the UK for the occasion, where she is studying History & Politics at Lincoln College. The princess showed up in a maxi dress by Belgian designer Dries Van Noten. The dress is decorated with crystals in a geometric pattern.
Her younger sister, Princess Eléonore, also shines in a Maje mesh dress with lurex. Queen Mathilde is wearing a long sleeveless red dress with draping for the occasion. The designer is currently unknown. The Queen wears diamond earrings with her festive dress.
The Christmas concert will be broadcast on various TV channels on Christmas Day. With this concert, the Belgian royal family wants to bring some warmth into the living rooms, which is why the MuCH Ensemble and the soloists of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel are presenting a musical program on the theme of Christmas.
