Diana got the silver car in May 1981, two months before she and Charles got married in St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
The Buyer is a museum in South America. No further information was provided. It was expected that the car would be sold for between 30,000 and 40,000 pounds.
– The interest has been great ahead of the auction. That it ends up in South America shows that there has been great international interest in the car, says Leis Rabett from the auction house Reeman Dansie Auctions in Colchester, UK.
