Erratum Fashion. Paul Birds. And now Ebru Sari, from ‘Atelier ExC’. The Ghent designer with Turkish roots founded his own haute couture store six years ago, and has since grown into an established value in BV land. “When Princess Delphine hired me to create her National Day look, it quickly became clear that it had to be an original design,” explains Jody. “And then Ebru is the right woman in the right place. She already worked with Princess Delphine for the Kastaars!, and that was immediately a hit at the time. The princess feels very comfortable with Ebru’s approach and professionalism, and is fully confident that she can translate her vision into a unique look. Princess Delphine is someone who knows what she wants, but at the same time she is open to suggestions. Her only demand – if I can call it that – is that they get a touch of Delphine. Will the collaboration between the three of us once again lead to a great end result? I think so. This outfit will cause fireworks.”
Last year, the outfit of the Belgian royal had ‘peace’ as the theme. “This year she chose love,” explains Jody. “Her whole look will convey this message. That is also true for me with who Delphine is: she is truly a princess of the hearts.” Further details are currently kept secret, although Jody does want to reveal that the look includes a hat. “Just like in 2022, it was designed by Josje Huisman. She has a very nice energy, which matches well with that of our princess.”
This is what Princess Delphine wore in recent years:
2021: the princess finds her dress and hat at Erratum Fashion from Molenbeek, which makes African-inspired fashion. The handbag comes from Award/t from Mechelen, the shoes are from the Antwerp label Morobé.

2022: Princess Delphine opts for a red dress by the young Limburg designer Pol Vogels. For her hat she appeals to Cornelia, the label of former K3’tje Josje Huisman. In terms of footwear, the princess again chooses Morobé.
