Princess Delphine of Belgium goes into fashion (photos)

Princess Delphine of Belgium has just embarked on a new project and is sharing it on Instagram. The artist is known for her colorful canvases mixing text with colored dots. She has decided to go into fashion now, by offering a small collection of three dresses, inspired by her works.

In her post on Instagram, she explains: “ I have been making shawls from my paintings for many years, to wear them as protective armor and to remind myself to enjoy every minute of life

“. The 53-year-old artist says she is excited to be able to present this new project.

The dresses take up his patterns. Large black letters where it is possible to read “Never give up”, “Everything is going to be fine”. A few spots of color punctuate the white and black dresses, tied at the waist. Delphine explains that the collection should be available in mid-June and presents her dresses as outfits that can be worn all year round. « I hope that words, colors and their meanings can inspire young and old alike ».

Delphine de Saxe-Cobourg used her art enormously to express the anger and sadness she felt during her struggle with King Albert II. It was finally in January 2020, that she won her case and last November that she wears her full name on social networks.
