King Albert denied for years that Delphine Boël was his illegitimate daughter. Following the DNA test ordered by the highest court of Belgium, the retired monarch admitted in January 2020.
When the two met after many years last year, it went well, according to Delphine. “When I saw my father again after many years, I felt that the contact was natural. It was very easy and I also experienced that with my brothers and my sister.”
Albert has also met Delphine’s two children, Princess Joséphine and Prince Oscar. “It went very well.”
