Charlène has been in her home country since May. She had flown to South Africa for a short work trip, but started receiving complaints shortly after arrival. Her doctors had therefore advised her not to fly back to Monaco.
The princess had previously undergone surgery and in early September – shortly after the visit of her husband and children – Charlène was urgently admitted after she had collapsed according to the Monegasque court.
Prince Albert said earlier this week that he expected his wife to be able to return to Monaco soon.
