Princess Charlene of Monaco was released from a hospital in South Africa, where she was treated for an ear, nose and throat infection. This was announced today by a spokeswoman for the principality, quoted by Reuters, BTA reported.
Charlene was hospitalized earlier this week after fainting due to complications from a condition that is not a cause for concern, the court of Monaco said yesterday.
The princess, who was part of the South African swimming team at the 2000 Olympics, married Prince Albert II of Monaco in 2011 in a lavish ceremony.
Albert is the son of the late Prince Rainier III and actress Grace Kelly, who gave up her Hollywood career. She died in a car accident in 1982.
