Princess Charlene of Monaco has made herself heard on social media for the first time since her hospitalization in early September. She posted a photo of herself smiling at the kitchen table.
Princess Charlene, the 43-year-old wife of Prince Albert of Monaco, was urgently admitted to a hospital in her native South Africa in early September. She had collapsed in the lodge where she had been staying for several months. That turned out to be the result of complications from a serious ear, nose and throat infection she had previously contracted.
Exactly a month after her discharge from the hospital, the princess shares a photo of herself on Instagram. The photo shows that Prince Albert’s wife is smiling at the table. In front of her is an open book. The photo is accompanied by the caption ‘God bless’.
It is not clear how long the princess will remain in South Africa.
