Princess Charlene of Monaco is feeling better since she left the clinic in March where she was treated for extreme fatigue, among other things. The 44-year-old wife of Prince Albert does say that her health is still “fragile”.
Charlene takes it easy. “I don’t want to rush anything,” she explains in the newspaper Nice Matin† “It’s been a long, hard and painful time. I feel a lot calmer now.”
The princess returned to Monaco last fall after six months. Charlene was in her native South Africa for a short visit, but was forced to stay longer because she had an infection in her throat, nose and ears and had to undergo multiple surgeries. When she returned home, she was overtired and left for a clinic.
It was rumored that it was not her health but marital problems that were the cause of Charlene’s absence. This to the great annoyance of the princess, who is happy with how her husband has dealt with the gossip. “Like everyone else, we have emotions and vulnerabilities, but due to the extensive media attention for our family, every form of weakness is widely reported.”
