Peace and quiet are needed

The princess is currently staying in a secret place where she will recover after a long time with health problems.

She will not participate in public tasks until her health allows it.

– A period of calm and rest is needed to ensure the very best improvement for Princess Charlene’s health, Monaco’s Royal Palace announced on Tuesday.

The princess has been told to rest for the next few weeks, and has recently felt a state of deep, general fatigue.

Collapsed after illness

It is not long since the 43-year-old recently returned to Monaco after a long period in her home country, South Africa.

While in South Africa, she was hospitalized in September and treated for an ear, nose and throat infection. This disease also caused her to collapse.

– As soon as her health allows, the princess looks forward to performing her duties as princess again, Monaco’s royal palace has stated in connection with Tuesday’s announcement of the princess.

Princess Charlene is a former Olympic swimmer and has, among other things, represented South Africa during the Olympics in Sidney 2000.

She married Prince Albert of Monaco in 2011. Together they have children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
