Princess Candrawathi becomes the most unique signatory to protection ever managed

BANDUNG, KOMPAS.com – Vice President of the Agency for the Protection of Witnesses and Victims (LPSK) Edwin Partogi Pasaribu stated that the application for protection presented by Ferdy Sambo’s wife, Princess Candrawathi as the most unique app as long as LPSK handles requests for sexual assault cases.

“Ms. PC is the most unique seeker for protection in sexual assault cases I handle and legal evidence,” Edwin said, at the Media Gathering event in Bandung, West Java on Friday (9/23/2022).

Not without reason, Edwin said, until LPSK was founded there was no applicant who did not want to be questioned for the protection process.

Only Putri Candrawati, the plaintiff who was reluctant to provide information for the case verification process.

“The only candidate as long as LPSK is on his feet who can’t (or) don’t want him to pass anything to LPSK. In fact, he’s the one who needs LPSK,” Edwin said.

“Only the PC applicant’s mother has been like this for 14 years since LPSK was founded,” he continued.

In fact, Edwin said, LPSK often provides protection for victims sexual harassment.

It is known that Putri Candrawathi had asked the LPSK for protection on July 14, 2022, which is a week after the incident of the shooting of Brigadier J (Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat).

Putri Candrawathi sought protection from the LPSK along with Bharada E or Richard Eliezer who was said to have shot Brigadier J with Ferdy Sambo.

However, when they were about to be examined, Princess Candrawati refused. Putri’s side asked the LPSK to protect Putri immediately without scrutiny.

At the time, the LPSK refused and continued to ask for a review from their psychologist.

In short, Putri Candrawati was unable to obtain protection because she did not want to be examined by the LPSK.

Putri was later named as one of the five suspects The murder case of Brigadier J. on August 19, 2022.

Previously, Brigadier J died at Ferdy Sambo’s official residence, Police Complex, Duren Tiga, Jakarta, on July 8, 2022.

Brigadier J was shot dead by Bharada E or Richard Eliezer by order of Ferdy Sambo.

National police have named Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Putri Candrawati and Bripka RR or Ricky Rizal and Strong Ma’ruf as suspects in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

For their actions, the five suspects were charged with premeditated murder as provided by Article 340 subsidiary of Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) with life imprisonment and death penalty.
