The Princess Beatrix Muscle Fund has been investing in scientific research into muscle diseases for decades. Successfully! The cause of many muscle diseases has now been identified and medicines are being developed. While a lot is happening in the field of research, our method of financing has largely remained the same. We therefore now want to take a critical and fresh look at how we finance research so that we can make the most difference for people with a muscular disease.
The opinion of the people with a muscle disease themselves is of course indispensable. That is why we ask people who have a muscle disease themselves or have a loved one with a muscle disease to pass on their priorities to us. This can be done via a short questionnaire.
