Princess Beatrix came home the previous weekend after paying a four-day working visit to Curaçao. There she said that she has been vaccinated twice against the corona virus and has already received a booster shot. She flew back late on Sunday evening, Dutch time, on a KLM scheduled flight.
Princess Beatrix started her working visit with strict enforcement of the two meters distance, as is mandatory on the island, because she wanted to stay in her ‘bubble’ as much as possible. She also wore a face mask at the start of the visit. Corona rules such as keeping distance and wearing a mouth cap were not always followed during the visit.
Because the princess was in isolation, she missed the 18-year birthday of granddaughter Amalia.
