Princess Amalia has spent the past six years at the Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet, a small-scale gymnasium in The Hague. She graduated cum laude, which means her average grade is above an 8.
Princess Amalia is not going to study right away. She skipped a school year and is now 17 years old. She therefore does not want to continue with further education after completing her secondary education, but will first explore ‘the wide world’ for a year. She doesn’t know exactly what she will do during that period. “It is mainly the thought of no school, but still learning, but not in the vein of school. Although I have enjoyed it over the past fourteen years,” she said on King’s Day. “I want to travel a bit, discover the world, do things that I might not be able to do in 20 years.”
