Al-Marsad newspaper: A video clip documented Princess Adhwa bint Fahd bin Farhan Al Saud and Prince Abdullah celebrating their engagement inside a restaurant.
The video showed the prince and princess sitting at a dining table and cutting cake, surrounded by members of a musical band beating the drums, and others taking souvenir photos.
During the video, a person’s voice was heard saying: “Congratulations, Your Highness the Prince. Congratulations, Your Highness the Princess.”
Princess Adwaa and Prince Abdullah appeared in a live broadcast with Manal Al-Hassan, the princess’s private secretary, where Manal Al-Hassan said: “It has become clear, let me” so that the princess and the prince would allow her to announce the engagement.
She added: “Let us say congratulations, people, to Prince Abdullah and Princess Adwaa. May God grant them well. Pray for them.”
