The Prince of Wales attended the BAFTA Awards ceremony in London today. He has been president of BAFTA since 2010.
William walked the red carpet alone at the 77th BAFTA Film Awards at London’s Royal Festival Hall as his wife, the Princess of Wales, continues her recovery from abdominal surgery last month.
William wore a dark blue velvet tuxedo with black lapels, black trousers, a bow tie and a crisp white shirt.
At the ceremony, the prince was photographed in the company of Australian actress Cate Blanchett. They greeted each other warmly with hugs. Blanchett also starred with William on the carpet at his Earthshot environmental award, held in November 2023 in Singapore.
William also greeted his friend David Beckham. The ex-athlete also attended a social ceremony in the British capital and, it seems, was there without his wife.
