The children of the British Crown Prince William have written touching letters to their late grandmother, Princess Diana. They did this in honor of Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom.

Prince George, at 7 the eldest grandchild of Diana and Charles, wrote “Dearest Grandma Diana. Happy mothersday. I love you very much and I always think of you. Lots of love from George. ” He had drawn a landscape on the other side of the map.

Two-year-old Louis kept it short and sweet: he wrote his name in finger paint next to a heart.

The children’s cards were distributed on their parents’ social media. The message was that “Mother’s Day will be different again this year. Many of us will be separated from our loved ones, but we look forward to the not-so-distant future when we will be able to hug our mothers again. But those who are mourning a loved one may find it even more difficult today. George, Charlotte and Louis make cards every year to commemorate their Grandma Diana, for William. Be that as it may, we are thinking of you on this Mother’s Day. ”

Princess Diana was killed in a fatal crash in Paris in 1997.
