Prince William was overjoyed with the victory of his favorite football club Aston Villa in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. The club from Birmingham defeated German top club Bayern Munich 1-0 at home, a repeat of the 1982 European Cup final between the two teams.
William, who is also chairman of the British FA, was in the stands at Villa Park during the match. TV images showed him cheering enthusiastically when Jhon Durán scored the only goal of the match in the 79th minute.
