the essentials in brief
Mike Tindall has the podcast “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby”. There was a royal visit there this time.
There have probably never been such prominent guests!
In the podcast “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby” Mike Tindall (44) is only too happy to talk to high-class celebrities. But this time none other than Prince William, Princess Kate (both 41) and Princess Anne (73) take a seat with him.
And let me say in advance that it was a really funny podcast round…
Tindall and his co-hosts James Haskell (38) and Alex Payne (43) wanted to know whether William had ever been emotional about a sporting competition.
Lo and behold, Prince William’s response was surprisingly normal. “Yes, the only time I cried about sports was when Zara won.”
“I think it was at the European Championships,” the heir to the throne remembers his cousin Zara Tindall (43, Olympic rider).
Are you an emotional person?
And Princess Kate adds: “Yes, I remember it because you came back and said you’d never been so proud of anyone.”
“We all sat around a telephone and watched,” said Prince William.
«Zara stood there and cried. The flag went up and I was thrilled. I was so proud. That’s what sport can do for you.”

The group in the “Green Drawing Room” at Windsor Castle obviously enjoyed the talk.
Because then Prince William and Princess Kate also chat about their own competition with each other.
At 41, Prince William is in great shape. The prince showed his skills at polo. Fans were overwhelmed with compliments for the son of King Charles III. Prince William and his muscles. Prince William and Princess Kate are sports fans.
“I don’t know where that came from,” Kate joked. «I don’t think we’ve ever been able to finish a tennis match. It becomes a mental challenge between both of us.”
William also confirms this. The two would try to “mentally outdo each other” in order to win.
