The sovereign’s succession more and more fuel the discussions in the kingdom. Her Majesty the Queen, has just celebrated her 94 years old. A very popular young prince
In the eyes of the English, the prince William would be the ideal successor for their sovereign. The eldest of Prince of Wales is a young man who enjoys excellent popularity and the model couple he forms with his wife, Kate Middleton, is probably not for nothing in this affair. Former husband of the princess of hearts and remarried at Lady Camilla Parker-Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, the Prince of Wales has spent his entire life being trained to be the successor from his mother.
But Prince Charles is getting old, he is today 71 years old and will celebrate its 72nd anniversary on November 14th. Struck with the virus during the Covid-19, he escaped and does not seem to have the slightest aftereffect. We can only rejoice. However, as soon as the latter is called upon to climb the throne on the death or abdication of his mother, it is not impossible that he is theone of the oldest monarchs to ascend the throne. If royal experts believe Her Majesty might make the decision to abdicate on his 95th birthday, then Charles would be 73 years old. But no one knows what will do Elisabeth II.
The queen would have made her choice
The English sovereign is a homework woman. She has always taken her responsibilities, she has always been at the side of her people. If she only rarely addressed the nation outside of official speeches, however, she has always been keen to respect traditions. If those close to the palace seem to say that in its interior the queen would rather cede the throne to his grand-son, they also specify that His Majesty has a deep respect for traditions and that at no time would the idea occur to him to transgress them and to put someone other than the official crown prince on the throne of England.
