## Will Prince William Ever Reconnect With His Brother?
The fractured relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry has been a topic of intense scrutiny ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California. Now, a new book by royal commentator Omid Scobie is shedding further light on the emotional chasm that separates the brothers.
In “Endgame”, Scobie reveals that William is struggling to reconcile with the “Harry” he now sees. A close source to the Prince of Wales is quoted as saying, “He feels he has lost Harry and doesn’t want to know this version of him.”
The book suggests that William resents what he perceives as Harry’s public criticisms of the Royal Family and a sense of “California-style” self-importance.
Commemorating the strained bond between the siblings, Scobie’s book unveils a glimpse into their lives. Harry and Meghan, alongside their two children, reside in Montecito, California, navigating life under the intense radar of the international media.
“Endgame” also delves into the complexities of the relationship between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, suggesting underlying tensions between the two women. Scobie writes that Middleton “often shudders and giggles” at the mention of her sister-in-law’s name, offering a glimpse into the frosty dynamic.
The book has sparked concern among Royal observers about the possibility of any future reconciliation. Ingrid Seward, a royal expert commenting for “The Mirror UK”, noted, “The revelations in the new book Endgame, with its vicious attacks on the monarchy and the Prince and Princess of Wales in particular, have been noted…Whether or not Harry and Meghan have anything to do with the latest book is not the issue. They have done in the past. If they haven’t, Scobie owes them an apology as he hasn’t done them any favours.”
However, Scobie has explicitly stated that the Sussexes were not involved in the book’s creation. In an interview with “The Standard,” he asserted, “The Sussexes have nothing to do with it. Their story is a small part of a much bigger one you can read in 12 days.”
As William grapples with the loss of the brother he once knew, the world watches to see if these fractured family bonds can ever be mended.
