Hundreds of people lined up outside a primary school in the small town of Llanelli in west Wales from the early hours of the morning, hoping to shake hands with the heir to the throne when he arrived. The visit to Swiss Valley Community Primary School delighted Prince William, who places great importance on promoting Welsh culture. The school offers Welsh-language teaching. The Prince of Wales met 10-year-old Ruby Davies, who won a recitation competition at a Welsh cultural festival.
