It was previously reported that Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, were considering these two college options for their eldest son.
William himself and his younger brother Prince Harry studied at Eton, and Princess Catherine graduated from Marlborough College.
Now information has emerged that the Welsh are considering a new school – Oundle School, located in Northamptonshire, writes express.
“The new favorite is obviously Oundle School, which is seen as the perfect compromise: an independent state school that values tradition but is also environmentally conscious, and claims to be a progressive school. It would be a smart move from the royal couple, who “knows about how to keep an ancient institution relevant,” says Marianka Swain of The Telegraph.
Prince William and Princess Kate are expected to make a decision on Prince George’s boarding school choice by the end of the school year. This year George will turn 11 years old and in two years he will have to change school, since at the Lambbrook school, where the Welsh children are now studying, education lasts until the age of 13.
