President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today, at the Amiri Diwan in the capital of Qatar, Doha, the Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, where an official reception ceremony was held for President El -Sisi, the two played national anthems and the honor guard was paraded.

Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, said that President Sisi and Prince Tamim bin Hamad held individual talks, followed by an extended session of talks involving delegations from the two countries, where Prince Tamim bin Hamad welcomed the historic visit of his brother, President Sisi, to Qatar in his first official visit to Doha, which reaches the peak of the recent path of excellence in relations between the Egyptian and the Qatar side, praising the fraternal ties between the two sister countries and expressing its appreciation for Egyptian efforts in support of Arab and Gulf affairs at all levels, while stressing Qatar’s intention to strengthen bilateral cooperation frameworks between the two sides in various fields in the coming period, increasing Qatari investment in Egypt and taking advantage of the investment opportunities available there.
